At the Division of Animal Resources and Development, we conduct the research and development of genetically modified and other laboratory animals in collaboration with researchers and research institutions both in and outside the university in order to promote and support interdisciplinary research in fields, such as life medical science and integrative east-west medicine.
　Further, to researchers conducting animal experiments, we provide seminars on how to conduct experiments properly with considerations of animal welfare, as well as animal experimental techniques, education and guidance of safety measures and latest technologies, in addition to providing scientific and rational experimental environment and carefully selected good-quality laboratory animals.
