At the Life Science Research Center, we strive to effectively manage the unified research facilities on the Sugitani Campus (for medicine and pharmacy studies) by annually renewing, enhancing, systematizing, and networking the facilities, promoting their joint use, supporting research that will contribute to the development of advanced science and society, and fostering individuals who will lead the development of next-generation life science (through educational support) in order to contribute to the creation of an affluent society. As the specific goals for practicing such philosophy and to promote and support interdisciplinary research, we strive to provide a necessary, appropriate, and excellent research environment and techniques for animal experiment, molecular structure analysis, genetics experiment, and radioisotope experiment, in addition to providing education and technical guidance with regard to animal resources and development, molecular structure analysis, molecular genetics research, and radiation research, so as to comprehensively support education and research in life sciences and contribute to the latest research and development of education in life science.
